For the first time ever at Mt Buffalo National Park, Under Sky will be offering luxury camping at the picturesque Lake Catani Campground — the only accommodation of its kind on the mountain.

Set amongst the snow gum woodland on the Mt Buffalo plateau, the secluded campsite is within steps of the spectacular Lake Catani. Open from 2 October to 17 DecemberUnder Sky at The Mountain will be pitching ten of its premium canvas bell tents on the campsite, fully equipped with queen size bed, rugs, interior furnishings, linen and towels.

Individual gas cookers, cooking pots and cutlery will also be included for you to prepare your own meals. There are hot showers and toilets on site, as well as a washing up area and communal shelter for Under Sky campers to enjoy.

Simply arrive at the campsite, find your tent and enjoy all that this special area has to offer. Take in the degree sunset at The Horn with uninterrupted views of the alpine wilderness region.

Discover over 90 km of walking tracks, enjoy canoeing, bike riding and picnics next to Lake Catani. For the more adventurous, Mt Buffalo is also a great spot for rock climbing and hang-gliding.The list of threatened flora of Australia includes all plant species listed as critically endangered or endangered in Australia under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (EPBC Act).

It shares the location with several camp sites I have previously talked about including Cook’s Mill, Farmyard.
